Why Wedding Videography?

Your wedding day is probably the only time you'll have all of your family members and close friends in the same place at the same time. This is truly a part of your personal family history. Video, when done properly, is the absolute best way to preserve it. After seeing the tremendous emotions our videos have brought out, there is little doubt to the power of this wonderful medium.  Unfortunately many couples rely on "Uncle George" with a consumer camcorder to capture the most important day of their lives. The combination of professional digital cameras (giving crystal clear pictures), properly mixed audio (with high quality wireless microphones) and refined editing skills are far beyond the means of the average hobbyist.

How important is it?

How important is a professionally produced wedding video? Only video will allow everyone to relive your wedding day as it actually happened--to see you walk down the aisle, to hear your voices as you exchange vows and rings, to hear and see the toasts, the music, your first dance at the reception... and the chance to preserve the complete story of your wedding day. Of all the brides we have met and spoken with over the years, not one has expressed regret over hiring a professional videographer to capture her special day, but many lament the fact that they didn’t take advantage of their services. Your wedding day only happens once. Put your trust in a professional.

Are wedding videos value for your money?

Do not underestimate the amount of time spent and the cost of equipment used to produce your wedding video. Your videographer will work from between 2-9 hours on the day with $20,000 - $30,000 worth of equipment. Followed up with around 30 - 40 hours post production on equipment worth only-who-knows-what.   So you're looking at around 40-50 hours to produce a decent wedding video using tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Imagine how much it would cost to hire the cars and drivers for 50 hours!!!. What I am trying to say is that due to the nature of video and the process of video production, your videographer will put more hours into your video than any other vendor will put into your wedding.

When it comes to a live memory of your special day, put your confidence in a trained, professional videographer because these events will only happen once.
